F1 in Bahrain

is it right that F1 goes and races in a country where the ruling family (ha) basically use force to disperse a peaceful (but usefully illegal - hah) protest?

seems bahrain is basically a medieval kingdom with an F1 track and those awful mansory things instead of horses.

I think the planned test is looking dodgy and the race perhaps even more so...

I would not worry. The Royal Family in Bahrain have enough foreign friends to keep the peace, and the race will go ahead without incident.

Italy this year could get somewhat messy with the politics there and the two Spanish races may be somewhat quiet too!!
