No, FOCA and their successors have had the TV rights since the 1981 season.

I haven't seen any of these recent official videos but I assume to commentary is rather less sardonic and rather more reverential or over enthusiastic - probably for the worse in my opinion.

Can anyone review any of the more recent season reviews?

1993 is worth watching, Jonathan Ross does the commentary and, shockingly, he's brilliant.

James does the 82 seaszon video as well. That year was so traumatic that being totally irreverant would not be right - and James gets the balance just about perfect.
