Just seen this while browsing on motors tv website:

it looks excellent - over 70 entries throughout the season - does anyone know where its come from as i've heard no news about it before now. From the looks of it its an amalgamation of the gt3 and gt4 european championships into one?

It's been created by SRO Motorsports Group who run the FIA GT3, GT4 and FIA GT1 World Champs, its been created to offer endurance racing to teams, an alternative to LMS and running expensive GT2 or LMP cars. . .jewel in the crown will be the Spa 24hr this year.

I think there will be sort of 40ish for the full season with most of the extra one-offs doing the Spa 24 Hrs. Sounds like a good way to get to see them before October and not have to wonder which stands will be unlocked!!

Agree, Spa is well worth visiting. . .far more accessible than Le Mans 24hr. Not quite the same in terms of specticle but the racing is super close and not a bloody turbo diesel in sight.
