after a whole winter of rumour, guff and bluster we count down the days until the first race weekend of 2011, and what we hope to be a cracking 2011 season.

Will Pirelli bring enough tyres to last a weekend?

Will fred reveal keep his gringo tache?

Can mclaren make a good car at the start of the season?

All will be revealed next weekend!

Its going to be epic. I am getting married that weekend and me and the wife to be have sorted the timings out so we will be around for the quali and race. Im looking forward to a good commentary team for once and I hope to see Merc doing well. We shall see......

Bet on a total wild card - promise you that. You could see a HRT winning - ok not an HRT but it will be a total lottery. The tyres are going to fall apart.

There's even rumours that the old bridgestone facility are going to start making tyres for pirelli and that's from a very reliable tyre man.

Its both and Im proud of it. Made sure everything is set so I dont miss it. We had planned for the 1st weekend in April but thats the start of the BTCC and we aint missing that!

I'm trying not to get too excited by it due to the anti-climax.
Bahrain was an absolute stonker last year and, I believe this partly due to teams using the first race as an extended test.

I fear australia may be an extended test this year round.
