That's the pit wall at Brands Hatch. It might be worth asking at the memorabilia shop at Brands, the guy who runs it seems to know his stuff. I think he's called Alex Reid.

Replace Mansell with Lauda and Id be tempted to say thats as good as it gets.

Prost was always my hero growing up, but if there is one guy I ever want to meet just to shake his hand its Lauda. bks in a different league top everybody else. Apart from maybe Keke, but Keke doesnt count because we all know he was born on planet Keke and therefore not human.

I'm pretty sure that pic was taken at Estoril towards the end of the season..
Also the ciggy branding would not have been on the overalls at Brands

It was blisters on his hand from the gear stick iirc. The tape that was over his knuckles was part of the loop holding the dressing on his hand.
