Nurbergring Camping German Grand Prix 2011
Discussion
Has anyone ever been camping at Nurbergring for the Grand Prix? If so what company and have you used Camping F1?
What are the facilities like around Nurberg? Are there supermarkets or decent shops to buy food, drink and BBQ equipment?
How far is the campsite to the circuit and what is the best day to arrive on?
What are essentials you need to take if they are providing the tents and any other general advice?
Do these places have wifi spots?

Only camped at the main campsite opp the main grandstand as every hotel etc was booked for miles !
Be careful as they charger per day and not per night so sometimes works out more costly than some B&B's out of the area.
The didnt take bookings just first come but its massive and always room
Supermarket wise aldi and lidl in adenau town
BBQ equipment pass unless your lucky the above have some on special, if your driving go argos first and build it out there.
5 min walk from main grandstand btu obvously further from other parts of the track

I'm going to Nurburg in July and staying with campingf1 i can defo recommend as i have used them 3 times now good sites. The good thing is their sites don't get crowded and the toilets are looked after all weekend, the showers are usually good unless you get there at 9am when the whole site gets up. If you use them you get a good sleep too, they're hot on noise after 1 ish and wow betide anyone making a racket, they even moved a guy at Spa for snoring loudly he got his own area well away from everyone else by Saturday. Bar prices are ok and the food is usually ok not too expensive, a weekend total on the site is about 200 with everything, tent food beer fund.
If you're going to be there I'd like to meet up with some PH people?
