Just a random fact I thought I'd share. Even though it's a kids film, I think I may just need to go see it. Got plenty of racing drivers with parts, Lewis, Jeff Gordon & Darrell Waltrip have all been confirmed. Plus Michael Caine is in it, how awesome is that?

Cars is a cracking film. Seen it about 3 times with my nephews.

Cars was awesome.

If you are a petrolhead, you get twice the laughs.

Never write off pixar because the films are for kids. They are aimed at the parents too.

aparently I also read that they are racing all over Europe invluding le mans. And one car is an English spy called Aston martin.

The Michael Caine character appeared to be something along the lines of a big Healey or a B-Gt. Trailers are on youtube.

Anyone who hasnt seen it - its an absolute must if your a petrolhead. Some very clever bits, like Sally Carreras tattoo underneath the flip up spoiler.

I've been looking for a reasonably priced red Mia and Tia set for ages, but they go for silly money on ebay!

try finding a "crashed King", only seen one and it sits in our cupboard unopened!!

The bugs that Mcqueen gets on his teeth in Cars are in the shape of VW Beetles(Bugs)

Cars wasn't Pixars best film but it was clearly made by petrol heads, I loved all the little touches like that the Radiator Springs logo was the Ford RS badge.
