Hands up, I'm actually involved with the offer, but this poster certainly isn't so thanks for passing on as requested.
To answer the question on price - it's sure not cheap, BUT:
There really is not another similar chance to see a race team at this level go about their work. The engineers will talk you through all set up, and explain telemetry and changes to you at points. The drivers are both stars in the making, and iSport have a good record of graduating plots into F1 - think Bruno Senna and Timo Glock in the last couple of years. We'll let you play with the car within reason, and will hopefully be able to walk you round the Silversotne track whilst we talk through the corners. To do something similar in F1 would only be available to sponsors at hundreds of thousands of pounds...
On top of this, there's good food and wine thrown in.
I hope there'd be a positive response from Pistonheads, because we've really tried to make this package fun for fans that perhaps can't get close to the teams otherwise, particularly when we're at foreign GP's.

It's basically a day behind the scenes with the team, not a tour - unfortunately we don't have total control over Groupon's copy.
Everything we do from a commercial perspective is geared at the corporate market, this is an attempt to do something for the fans.

Incidentally, Ericsson has had rookie tests with Brawn.
Bird has had rookie tests with Mercedes and is now actively involved in their test programme. He is the highest rated young British driver outside of F1 and has a good chance at being the next in line for a crack at the big time.

Probably best to start exerting some then, before the ASA do it for you, and you get a load of Credit Card chargebacks from irate, misled customers...Sam Bird needs so serious sponsorship if he is going to keep his GP2 drive. the M-B deal was done via a long term M-B engineer who's son raced against Sam way back. he is a good driver but won't go much further without around £5 million a year in sponsorship even if he wins GP2.

If he proves his worth to Merc, who's to say he won't get an F1 chance on merit like Di Resta? I absolutely understand the pessimism with regards sponsorship - Maldanado and Perez being perfect examples - but I think that if a driver is truly good enough and shows that in a test, he'll get more chances to impress. The package is OK and fairly priced.
Come to think of it I can't recall Merc having a reserve driver at the moment?!

Won't be ignoring you - I've read a lot of your recent posts (GP: Killer years etc.) and respect/like what you write. I admit I was a little taken a back by it.
