No doubt on i-player too, as per the other two recent F1 progs.

I dont know if it will but it was an interesting watch.
Its a nice over view of his life and the major elements of it.

It was the programme made by Mark Stewart, Jackie's youngest son. It was filmed about 10 years ago just before Ken Tyrrell passed away and just after Paul Stewart had got over his cancer. It has been shown on the BBC last year 3 times in April, June and December.

So, if it has been shown so many times, why are they being so bloody "precious" and not releasing it to be shown on i-Player ? ? or maybe the Beeb don't want to pay ? ?

It's not a BBC programme so they probably don't have the permissions to put in on iPlayer, it's still available to purchase on DVD which may be the reason why, same reason they don't have most if not all films on iPlayer too.

Although it was a repeat - of a very good documentary - it was well worth watching it again.

Some excellent footage of F1 in days gone by & the section regarding Francois Cevert was extremely moving.....

Particularly the final shot of Francois looking at the camera, & Helen Stewart, as he drove out of the pits on his final lap.

Also the interview with Uncle Ken was poignant as it was probably the last time he was with JYS before he passed away.

All in all & good 90 minutes which should, i would hope, be repeated sometime soon a BBC3 or BBC4.

Was a good watch, as mentioned above the section on Cevert was poignant. A good addition to the autobiography, for someone who grew up watching more modern machinery.
