Michael Schumacher has chosen his five greatest all-time grands prix for the second edition of this year's new-look classic Formula 1 feature.

The thing that I really like is that the first 2 races he has picked are not his best but other drivers that he has enjoyed watching!
Now to sit and wait for the usual Schumacher haters to start their usual campaign...

(About the 91 Spanish GP) This was one of the first few races of my career, but that's not why I remember it. It's for the wheel-to-wheel battle down the pit straight between Ayrton Senna and Nigel Mansell, when they came within inches of touching. It was two great drivers pushing each other to the edge, but with the respect to leave each other just enough room. It's one of the coolest moments I've seen in F1

nice one rev, although it says press 2, it only worked when i pressed 3!as for the schumi haters, feel as though we lost a 7 time world champion from the past and gained a ledgend in the pitlane in the now. I loved when the camera cut to him in qually in melbourne and he did the rock on sign with his thumb and little finger.

Some people just don't like Schumacher. End of. I despise Button but I don't have a pop about how useless he is / was only world champion in 2009 because of the car / love how Lewis shows him up in every race and qualifying session.What exactly did he do wrong? Brundle also thought it was totally out of order, though it pales in comparison with his moves on Barichello...and Hill...and Villeneuve...and Frentzen...and his own brother... and brake testing Hakkinen on the main straight in Macau F3 etc. etc.What exactly did he do wrong? He's allowed one move across the track which he did! MH decided to keep going for a gap that was only getting smaller!!
Not trolling, just keeping the record straight and in view. There are enough hagiographers of Schumacher for him not to have to write his own panegyrics (look it up)!

this was said about Michael Schumacher by a man whose opinion is one of the most valued in the sport, by a man who has seen all of the greats in the sport and by a man who has no axe to grind. If you try and claim MS isnt one of the greats then you are talking out of the whole in your arse

Schumacher is undoubtably one of the most able drivers ever with peerless F1 stats, but I for one will never give up pointing out the historical truth that his brilliance is deeply flawed by his persistent fouling, dangerous driving and lack of sportsmanship and that is why, for me and many others he can never be accounted among the sports truly greats. The trouble is you guys have fallen for the sucker PR punch. After he nearly killed Barichello he had a massive publicity problem. The failure of his return to F1 the sullying of the record AND another dreadful, probably the worst, driving incident. Consequnetly there's been a massive attempt to show him in a good light. Publicising some great races, including giving a big nod to Hakkinen is as cynical a piece of PR as I have ever seen. He has done this before and with a cuddle from Bernie after the Frentzen incident, when he was still F1's biggest money spinner. BE won't be interested now. I simply can't believe how many on here are taken in by this BS.
[Not particularly interested in discussing the charity stuff this time, but what does it represent as a proportion of total wealth and was it done without publicity?]
