Well 5 days to the next btcc meeting some more news circulating. Tony gilham may not be back due to a major sponsor dropping out which will be a shame as he had a very good start at brands. A 4th team will run a new ngtc model at the end of the year for a full on attack for 2012 onwards.
NGTC Insignias set for finale
A fourth different model of ‘NGTC-spec’ car, Vauxhall’s Insignia model, looks set to appear in the Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship in 2011 with new team Thorney Motorsport up on btcc net and touring car times.

Dave pinkney will not be racing but rob himself will take part instead of him and the team have been preparing to finish the first race ahead of the toyota's.

Whos going whos watching i will be doing neither as im out on a run with a club. But looking forward for the trip down to thruxton and then oulton park.

I'll be there for both days, really looking forward to it. Anybody got any advice on the bet viewing spots? Haven't been to Donington in a fair few years.

I was there a couple of weeks ago and both infield and outfield are now open which is good news, though the infield is quite restricted. Sitting on the grass where the Spitfire used to be made me feel quite nostalgic. I fear I may have to head to Silverstone on Sunday for F2 instead, will see how car/driver are holding up after trackday at Anglesey on Saturday.

The plans are yes they will be racing but with only one car but not pinkney driving as hes off on buisness. So rob austin himself will be driving it. So wheather the 2nd audi will be racing at thruxton when pinkney comes back i dont know. So we should see which of the 2 ngtc cars are fastest.

Unlikely, the radios are rubbish in F1.

They've been going live to drivers at Bathurst and other Aussie V8s for years, in fact I think Aussie V8 racing was the first to also use panning on board cameras as well.

Last season he was moaning about the LPG powered Focuses, and this seasons it's turbo engines.
