Fantastic - I only made it up in time for the start on Sunday morning (and I think I saw this on the afternoon reply, but was down the gym and thus w/out sound) - cheers for posting it!

What I want to know is when will they get rid of that stty CGI graphic opening? Its so crap its untrue, its not like they don't have 1000's of hours of classic footage to use either is it. And as mentioned they don't struggle to make a decent montage/vignette.

Bernie would never allow the copyright for such frivolities! Remember how he only allowed top gear to show the senna piece twice before insisting on it never being broadcast again? Or how he continually had that 2010 review from the autosport awards pulled from YouTube? Thats why you can't have archive footage as the opener.

How odd!
I said exactly the same thing at the weekend.
The music is just fantastic and yet, the video is bloody crap!
I mean, they've got the old (ING) Renault car and I only recognise one track - singapore, and that's only because it's night time.

They could easily incorporate last years footage (now the cars look pretty much the same!) Plenty of action last year; banzai over-takes, webbers flying machine, sub-4 second pit stops, schumie and barry up close and personal, webby saying "not bad for a number 2" with smelly saying "Alonso is faster than you," (please don't show vettel crying though, that makes me cringe!) :0) Loads of other stuff too.

Get rid of the footage and the pretend engine sounds, and bring on a 2010 montage!
