Martin Brundle's Grand Prix analysis

Does anybody else find this a touch amateurish!
The content is fine for the wind down after the race but it looks quite naff how they bung a television on a table & Brundle wildly stabs at it.

It would be good if the Beeb could rattle a few tins & give him a graphics package similar to what Andy Gray had on SkySports.

According to his twitter feed the BBC wanted to make the red button more technical/analytical for the more hardcore fans that typically watch the forum, and the tv thing is the route they chose. Iirc brundle isn't that fond of it (too wordy is what I think he said) but it'll probably develop/get better over time.

It's a good idea, but it needs development. For example Brundle needs to be able to pause the footage and move it frame by frame. That would help him get the point across without having to keep up with a moving image.

No i liked it, it could be better but i like the intimacy of the set up although they could do with giving MB the video controls ?

Ok so Canada had no forum for obvious reasons but what happened to the analysis this weekend? Or is Valencia too dull & hot to stick Brundle in a cupboard!

They had a forum. They tried to sneak into Parc Ferme and there were more overtakes in it than the whole race!

I meant the Martin Brundle segment 'Grand Prix analysis' which is within the 'Forum', the bit when he sits in front of a screen talking about various aspects of the race. It sadly never felt quite right & from what boomboompow commented Brundle wasn't 100% either, perhaps explaining why it is now gone...

The Forum itself is bloody brilliant & deserves a thread of its own, the 'surprise' interview with Newey was top notch, especially the Dario Franchitti Goodwood story!
