Anybody do Autotesting
Discussion
Well this topic goes as the title says, does anybody on here do Autotesting. Ive been doing it for a couple of year now and in that time I bought and sold my first car, a Renault 5 (lets forget about that
) and now I use my mums Nissan Micra 998cc ( though she does seem to wonder though why me and my dad disappear every other wednesday and turn up with a muddy car afterwoods
. I look forward to hearing from you fellow PHers

My dad used to be national champion back in the day.
I was around autotesting from age 0 - 17 until my Dad stopped competing.
I had so many opportunities to start myself but never did. Regret that now.
Its a great entry level motorsport tho in't it. Friendly too.
Are you mainly doing grass events or tarmac too?

I do grass autotesting, thats all I've ever done and it pretty awsome. I'm in Maidstone and Mid Kent Motor Club, hope on competing in spints or trials at some point they look really fun, I used to go to Sevenoaks to compete but the field was destroying my R5 so I'm now racing at Headcorn Aerodrome
If you get the chance do start again it costs pennies to run, (my renault cost me £120 and I sold it for £185) paid £20 for fuel for the whole season, and a trailer (the most expensive part).
