A343 to Newbury can be fun, although sight lines are very restricted in places and there can be farm traffic out and about so definitely "stop in the distance you can see" territory.
As above.. both great roads. Plus the A342 towards Devizes (combined with A360 down to Stonehenge is a decent loop, perhaps short cut through Lavington..).
