Van speed limits - France
Discussion
I'm driving down to the Portes Du Soleil region of France for my annual mountain biking holiday next week and I normally take my car but as there are a few of us going this time we are sharing driving duties. I'll be in my friend's Transit Custom and on researching the speed limits for vans I get some sites that say it's the same as a car and others that say it will be restricted to 110kph. Which is true? It would really help if it was indeed 130 as we plan to go in convoy with two others in a car so keeping together will be easier and faster if we can go up to the higher limit (provided it's not raining obviously). It's an extra 2 hrs according to Google if we have to stay to the lower limit over that distance!

Looks like less than 3.5t then same as the car, it also looks like I could take the wobble box over and hit 81mph too
Towing limits are slightly more complicated - if plated train weight is over 3.5tnne you are restricted to the slower limits 56mph on the motorway.Range Rover + 500kg trailer = 56mph
1.5tnne car towing 2 tnne wobble box =81mph
