I miss mine greatly. The looks, sound and visceral nature of how it goes about each drive. Will have another.

Thoroughly enjoyed the 4 1/2 years I had with my Mk1 Tuscan.

Had a top end rebuild when I purchased it and it was pretty much faultless in my ownership.

Much more rewarding to drive and less intimidating than the 4.7 Vantage we had at the same time

Very nice OP. I've always had a soft spot for TVR's and the Tuscan in particular.

I've never found that bottle of brave pills though. Maybe one day.......!

Very special cars TVRs and a sorted Tuscan, S or otherwise is a great thing to own and enjoy!

What a stunner. I adore a Griff (a good friend has one), but the Tuscan is a magnificently bonkers evolution of TVR.
Despite the terrible poly inaccuracies, seeing one in Swordfish probably didn't help my admiration for them!

Awesome choice. I had 2, a 4.0 and then a 3.6. The first car should have put me off the Tuscan for ever, as it was a problem car, but the second was everything I hoped it would be.
Carbon can exhaust on mine was hilarious - I’d still rate the sound as being as good as my Capristo 360! Enjoy the car!

I think assuming you've bought a decent one it will be a lot less 'brave pill' than everyone says. The engine rebuild is the only thing that's actually genuinely expensive, and you shouldn't need one if you buy right. Also found mine remarkably tame and compliant... though it was on nitrons!

I miss mine every day. Though I do know if I had another I'd always be paranod about it going up in flames again....

Your timing is good OP.
25 year rule for USA etc.
Also two car You Tubers have recently purchased them (TGE and TDC) so expect prices to rise on good ones.

Oh I like that. Never been a big fan of the Tuscan but I must say it's starting to take me in a bit.

As above, big name YouTubers are starting to pick them up. ChrisFix has got his stored with AutoAlex pending the 25 year rule expiring at a guess. The price of these, especially the Swordfish ones, will explode in short order.

The exhaust looks very restrained by Tuscan standards. Is the plan to keep it? Or go for something you can lose a small child in? biggrin This beaut was at our local TVR monthly meeting a few months back. Full sized can for scale ...

It looks like a great car. I hope it keeps a big smile on your face like a good TVR should.
