Porsche 718 Spyder

Fascinating driving the Porsche 718 Spyder for the first time after so many miles in the GT4RS. The 4RS is far more hardcore - its engine, induction noise, stiffness and sharpness are leagues ahead but, perhaps unsurprisingly, the Spyder rides much better and its engine feels a lot smoother. A cosseting experience in comparison. Even though they re from the same model family they re chalk n cheese, especially as this Spyder has a manual box. They are both ideally suited to their roles of track day weapon and weekend / holiday sports tourer.
