I have a huge file of history with the car including old hillsprint & race photo's, also got a good magazine article.

Dam..so it hasnt got a Richard Longman head???

Yeah it's great fun! It rolling roaded 76bhp & toped 101mph two weeks ago!

however rebuilt the engine did a good job!

it's done 170,000miles with the rebuild about 100,000

the guy at the rolling road said it was compleatly sound, everything in tune no smoke & even smelt right apperently!

Lovely classic Mini. My mum had a 1275GT new on an R plate in metallic blue. went everywhere in it when I was a kid. Loved it, possibly what got me interested in cars in the first place

Lovely looking car

(IMO) For safety, legal, damaged limitation reasons as well as aesthetics I'd go back to white and yellow reflective number plates - this time tho' with raised individual plastic letters and numbers as they look fantastic (more expensive £45-£50 but well worth it)

LOL...the black plates are the old plates that I have replaced with the correct period refective ones!

Wow, that is a VERY lovely mini you have there. I love most of those pics, look like you really have gone back to the 70's! Love the orange too, we had a 1978 Mini 850 in a bright orange until recently, still miss it.
