Just loking for and need asap a low cost car if anyone knows a bargain. Max £1000 to spend would like a Mitsi GTO in Silver or interesting Sports/Coupe eg Megane (high spec)

But from what i've found any sports orientated car for circa £1000, is probably gonna need more money spent on it to keep it on the road!! So it won't be cheap!!

Ive been very happy with mine.

Preludes are very reliable for there age, and for £1000 you can get quite a good car if you search around enough.

If you buy a UK car insurance will also be quite cheap (I pay £280 and im 26)

Probably not the coolest car you can buy, but the 4th gen cars dont look too dated and the handling is very good for a FWD car.
