The driveway (and the fleet) as it stands...
Discussion
Never really get around to posting so thought I would.
Gave the cars a quick clean and got a few pics before it tipped it down

CLS
Iriduium Silver with Sunset Red Leather. AMG Spec from the factory so came with the 19" alloys, AMG bodykit and lots of toys such as COMAND, adjustable airmatic suspension and keyless go etc...
Owned for approx. 4 years and been an absolute joy. Makes all the right noises and if this is what a 3.5 litre petrol V6 sounds like the 5 litre and CLS55 AMG's must be in a class of their own. Very nice car, which sadly is now going up for sale. Didn't dare risk taking it out in the snow!
BMW Z4
Owned for roughly 2 years. Carbon Black (which is actually and very deep dark blue - think Orient Blue but darker!) with Red Leather seats. Has the unusual factory fitted MV alloys (the sequel to the popular MV2's as made famous by all the E46's with them on) which I haven't seen on another car to date ! Anyone else have these fitted?
This is the 2.0 petrol model with 6 speed manual 'box. Nice to drive but very firm on those runflats! At times I wish we had bought the 3 litre model but then it comes to filling up I am glad we got this car...the 2.0 petrol is surprisingly frugal on fuel! Simply will not drive 2" inches in the snow!

Audi TT
Owned for 5 years now. It is the 225bhp quattro model 1.8 T. Silver with black leather - I'm not really into dark interiors but this has stood the test of time. As it gets older it just seems to get better! Nice supple leather on the hugging seats. The 'box seems a bit agricultural in comparison to the Z4 but it is a lot LOT quicker than the Z4. All in all good car. A snow plough in the winter!

Ford Focus
Owned almost since new! 2.0 Diesel TDCI Titanium Edition. Blue with half black leathers and funky toys like "turning Xenon headlamps" which were really cool back in the day. This is the workhorse of the fleet and will be taking weekly trips to the dumps, picking up large unwiedly objects... you name it this car does it (within reason of course). THE snow workhorse, rather comical crawling past all the 09/59 plate Audi's/BMW's and a Volvo ! In the snow last year, whilst they span their rear tyres, the Focus just tootled on past.
We had the tow hook fitted to trailer my single seater kit car (obligatory picture below)

This was sold to a guy off Pistonheads - if you're reading this, or if anyone knows him - let me know how he is getting on with it! This Sprint R was simply awesome, a road legal single seater with ~500bhp per ton was as fun as it sounds. Never got to use it in anger though as fatherhood and a business venture meant that it had to go :-( Very very sad day. Had a sheltered life so no snow.

C180K
Owned for roughly a year this C180 Kompressor is very well built. I would even go as far as saying it is a bouncier, lighter andmore underpowered version of our CLS! Again, following my love for light interiors, this came from the factory with cream leather normally only available as an option on the SL's. Very nice car with low miles and easy to navigate around town with the pram in the boot/kids in tow. The only thing I wish it did have is the COMAND/Sat Nav system. Not so great in the snow, but better than the CLS and Z4/TT.

And to finish my post in Readers Cars off :
My DREAM car

Ooops sorry for the essay. Only meant to post a few pics and it turned into this rather long winded post.
Edited for spelling.

Answer to the above Q's:
There are 4 drivers now, hence the CLS needing to go.
Not a lot of snow, we live in S. Bucks, was just making reference to the last 2 winters as we did get snowed in.
That Sprint R was awesome. Really really miss it
Wouldnt you be tempted by a old discovery? Can get a 'mint' one for £2k and would be good in the snow, towing, general dog duties etcThere are 4 drivers now, hence the CLS needing to go.

I know what you mean about the snow, I'm in South Oxon and bought a Subaru for the snow this year as my Cooper S was immobile and couldn't get off the drive! There are 4 drivers now, hence the CLS needing to go.
