I have restored and owned this car for 11 years. Apart from the usual standard items fitted to the MG Metro. The car is also fitted with a few extra sporty items;
3" Air Intake Ram Pipe
LCB manifold (heat insulated)
2" straight through exhaust
MK1 Toyota MR2 Sports Bucket Seats
Driving Spotlights
Turbo Alloy Wheels (185/55-13 tyres)
Turbo Body Kit
Bonnet vent scoops

Hope you like it!

Excellent! Whack a turbo motor in it and it'd be spot on.

Thanks for the comments guys. Yes, it was the Valleys Heriatge Tour, last charity event I did before going over to Australia, a cracking event. Back in the UK at the moment, Is it still running?

Cheers,

That's really nice, i seem to appreciate anything that's not a new car these days.

What you need is a 1.8 k series engine in it. My mates in the middle of building a 1.9 forged engine after his 215bhp 1.8 k series with ITB's and cams with the vvc removed wasn't enough lol.

Maybe upgrade the brakes, like he's since done so they don't tear a set of brand new pads to nothing in a day!

That's a real shame MG CHRIS. Claymore, is your car still around?
