This is copied from another site so apologies if bits don't make sense.
She's still a WIP and it's a long one..I'm also a Borbet we. laugh

Bought the tourer back in June 2010 as my daily shed had broke yet again but that's been scrapped now frown

I'm aware that the front end needs to come down more, we've just got other issues first.

9js all round (Spend more time off the car atm frown )
M50 Engine conversion (which is getting changed soon)
Tinted windows
Black Grilles
Remove the light washer jets
Electric fan
Leather Interior (Rear E30, Front's will be E36 shortly)
Strut Brace
Welding sills etc
Leather doorcards
Refit air duct
Pressed plates
Sump guard
Uprated springs

Thing's to do for this year:
HID's
MTech Front Valance
Steel Sump Guard
Rear windows going Electric

Anyway, this is how I bought her biggrin

New leather interior biggrin

New wheels wink

New pics of my low shed with my mates (monster truck) touring biggrin

Been looking for somewhere for ages with graffiti and finally found some.. along with 2 coppers asking what we doing, shortly before asking if she could pose on my bonnet. Err no.

Finally got round to changing my Alpina badges for BMW ones.
Now for some trippy stuff..
Car or water reflection?

Few with mates cars biggrin (Havent really done much recently, haven't had the chance smile

Griffin's Head meet

I was planning on buying some G60 Rims off a mate and getting them banded but after seeing what my Vento Steels look like on the 30, I've gone against them, banded or not, I really don't think they'll suit my car.
It's currently sat with 15" BBS' on the front and 14" Vento steels on the back, scraping everywhere and my exhaust is ready to fall off again. 3rd Time lucky.

Started working on the car last night about 7 and the 2.5 was in mine by 2.30am, (I didn't get many pics as I was knackered but those I did are camera phone pics so apologies. biggrin

The 2L

& the work begins..I didn't get pics of the 2.5 being taken out but it took 2 and half ish hours biggrin
Because of this, they decided to take out the 2L and fit the 2.5 as well biggrin

Engine out biggrin

Now what? :P

And that's it so far.. tonight they've got the wiring, piping, radiator & exhaust to sort out. biggrin
Day 2 of 24v conversion and it runs and drives fired second time sounds awesome with no headers.. John drove it yesterday and said it's a bit of a handful as he hasn't fitted the brake servo yet, just exhaust /servo /an new rims to do. Yay!
& looking like a monster truck :fpalm:

Now for some better pics

M50 & Aluline Cups (Set 2)

Pretty Engine love

aaaaand we are up and running biggrin

And she passed her MOT biggrinbiggrinbiggrinbiggrin
Wheels Set 3

White one is my partner's old car.
Gave the cars a clean and couldn't help but take some pics biggrin
Can you tell which one gets abused?

Black Kidneys / New Bonnet / Splitter smile

Tints <3

Few Pics from this weekend biggrin

Halloween Cruise - Sunday

Thanks..This was at Flame & Thunder

she's alot cleaner now but need to upload the pics biggrin
Well she finally had a bath last week and came up looking nice.

Got loads to do for next season, Until then, as I need some new tyres, my car has been pandafied.

So, as some may know I smashed my sump and the car was off the road over Christmas, so John's made me a temporary sump guard, he's gonna make a better one when he's sorted his touring so it'll be fun seeing how long this lasts.

Finally got my borblets back on now, John started cleaning them up to find out after a bit of T-Cut they were gun metal grey underneath, so off comes the black.

& An M-Tech 2 Steering Wheel. biggrin

Few better pics 8)

Well we changed the injectors and she worked on 6 cyl's for about half hour and then went back to the misfire. So we're gonna try and clear the ecu fault code that we originally had, otherwise it looks like I have an electrical fault. We also need to sort my headlights, as we sorted the relay and even with the new ones, they are still st tbh. frown
On another note, my 9js are now off again as we hit a rock on Friday night and it bent the inside of one of my 9j's so John's going to try and straighten it back, so Sparky's rolling on black 14's. Sketchy to say the least. Other than that, I don't really have any updates but we did get a couple of pics of the cars on Saturday.
Dan (Matt Black) Middle touring is my fella's and Sparky (Mine).

Couple of pics from the UK Stanceworks meet.

A Few more I've found from the Stanceworks UK Meet, even though the only look she has atm is Streeto.

She looks straight as fk here but she's not, someone keeps denting her at work I think. <_<

I'm now down to 4 / 6 injectors and John's touring is still being wk.
This is how I roll:

Eventually the wheels will all be one colour and powder coated. smile
Life from above <3

Here's some pics of all the work she had done over the weekend.. I had holes in my floor pan, sills and exhaust & John spent all weekend getting her ready for a new MOT which she passed.
Kidneys need respraying frown

We never realised my car was this bad..I guess in a way, it's a good thing I got pulled before she got worse.

No wonder my car was loud.. this is down to speedbumps at work frown

Cleaned her this morning so thought as It's sunny, I'll get some pics. Cleaned some of the borbets shortly after and also heading over to Manifold Valley tonight for some good times. smile
Sparkleness (Pics before didn't show it off enough)

Reflections <3

Got lows?

With a mate's merc biggrin

Bought a new camera couple weeks ago, and been playing around..

I LOVE this shot <3

Few more, playing around with reflections biggrin

Few new arty pics with the new eyebrows & her current look, due to problems with my rear 9's.

Turbo is next on the list. biggrin
Well she's fully borbeted up again, unfortunately on 7.5j and 9js as my rear ones haven't been fixed yet.
I got a crack free dash board for her yesterday and she's had a couple of new niggly bits inside, handbrake / gear leather cover thing, mine had a habit of getting thrown in the boot everytime it p*ssed me off me off.
Well she lasted the week.. the running problem is getting worse and John thinks it may be fuel related somehow. She doesn't always start first time and when she does start, she rattles the tits off the engine and we've started to notice that it backfires through the airfilter. Not gonna bother trying to fix her now as she'll be getting her new engine soon hopefully.

Anyhow few sceney pics.

We did clean her once but where we were staying was country single track roads so was pointless. :|

Hopefully, I went to a lot of the Griffin's head, Papplewick meets last year along with Ashby Folville. Most local Retro rides meets we attend though. smile

Nice car, but looked 100 times better on the BBS's, not a fan of the rear lights either.

Other than that, top work!
Thanks, the borbets are 50/50 with alot of people but I love dish. They are only temporary now as I'm after something different.. just a case of saving up. smile

I love the Borbets OP, they suit the car really well. That probably comes from the days of buying PVW. smile

Don't know if you remember me or my white iS, (BBS, tech 1 spoiler...) used to go to a few of the derby dubs meets with my mate in his various campers...

Remember seeing you at a few meets, glad to see the tourings still going strong! Unfortunately I sold my E30 to a mate who wrote it off frown Really miss her!

To jog the memory smile

Got an Impreza RB5 now, wouldn't mind getting back into an E30 soon though.

Nice E30, but I'm not a fan of the wheels to be honest. Some BBS ones would look much better in my opinion smile I caught a glimpse of it at Ashby Folville as you were about to park too.

Yeah I remember you, followed you in a couple of times IIRC. I don't go to the DD meets anymore, I'm not welcome haha.

It's always sad to sell your car and then see it written off. frown

Cheers, there not staying much longer I don't think in all honesty, I'm gonna fix my 2 up and give my fella his back (ones on the car) and then possibly get some BBS's whilst I save up for what I really want. biggrin

Should've said hi, if you saw us.tongue out

It definitely needs to get some good BBS wheels on it for the classic look, those chavvy pizza dish style alloys are doing nothing for it. I'd get it looking good and drive it until the rest of the bodywork rots away!

We're going to be sorting out the bodywork once it's off the road so she'll be mint again. I want it back to some form of show standard. smile
