Hello, wavey

Love the look of these bangle BMW's.

Ditch the tinted lights though as IMO they look crap. It looks like your Gf/wife's tights over the lights. If you like them though, keep em as it's not my ride.

What other mods do you have planned?

Edit: I love the alloys though, and I spot 4 exhaust tips... do they hint at some engine upgrades?

Bit of a daft statement considering he probably likes this look as it is his car after all.

Back to the car, I do like the black on black and the black 19" make it look particularly menacing. Nice job. I'll more than likely step up to one of these from the 3 when I've had enough.

cheers guys. ok so the lights are tinted with "fly eyes" as a tester to see if i liked the look ( which i do ) before splashing the cash on expensive proper tinted lights. the rims are 20" miro 111s personally imported from california. and the exhaust is a custom magnaflow. power currently up by about 15bhp and was thinkin of 'chargin it but reports are its a little too late in terms of price to power increase. so upcomin mods include mtech kit with some carbon goodies from schmiedmann and vorsteiner, coilovers, and some dinan stage 3 tuning which should see 400bhp.

I love these cars but I really don't think black alloys look right on this type of car

Nice. But if you're really going for the "murdered out" look, I'd debadge it and have matt black exhaust tips too. Might as well go the whole hog!

Looks great, like it a lot.

Genuine question: are all those mods costing you similar money (including price of the car obviously) to a lightly used secondhand M5?

again, thanks! well if i went with the 'charger then yes, car plus kit would cost similar to a m5. power would be the same but obviously the m5 is better overall. the current mod plan isnt costing too much. plan to keep the car a couple years and then trade up to either e60 m5 or f10 550. or ideally if prices drop enough and i save enought, a maseratti granturismo! but thats doubtful!

I suppose. some people get more joy out of improving a more or less standard car. Kind of like the Paul's leon (wannabe cupra) thread.

Very nice!

All I think it needs is something to finish off the front.

Either a more agressive front bumper or some sort of splitter would finish it off perfectly IMO.

I was thinking the same, maybe the M Sport front end rather than the SE?
