My 3rd E91 335d

Yeah ive done it again, we were looking for another car and Clare wanted an A3/A4, i on the other hand had other ideas, and did a deal on this without her knowing.
I picked it up a fortnight ago, through a contact in the trade, at a VERY good price but in average condition, as its been lady driven in central London for 4 years and it came with the usual kerbed wheels, marks, dents etc
I still regretted selling my black one, and everytime i seen it on the road it upset me, the 330d was good but not the same, so when this came up i couldnt pass it up, as the spec/colour combo were perfect
However i took i to GTI International, where it perfomed impeccably, ran it on the Sprint both days and won the diesel class on the Saturday, it actually turned out to be the quickest of the 4 local cars that ran the sprint at the weekend, Not bad for a standard Auto diesel estate.
Anyway its been having its issues sorted this week and i picked up some wheels and a plate for it too, its still not cleaned properly, thats tomorrows job, next weekend its tints and a remap

Yet the smokelined rear lights from BMW, would look fantastic.
Why thank you, I wish the OH shared the same love of the wheels as everyone else has. Nevermind.
One thing this car was lacking over my last 2 E91s was sun protection glass, and as I have a young son now, I felt that he would benefit from the windows being tinted as he hates any form of bright lights being in his eyes, so I had the rear windows from the B pillar back done in a medium tint, so it looks factory.
Whilst that was being done I got the remap done too, this has transformed the car from quick to proper quick, especially mid range and at higher speeds, this is where it really shines. Fuel economy seems to be up too
I have also bought some darkline rear lenses, so I'll hopefully get those and my 12mm rear spacers fitted this week

Nice, very nice. I can never understand the 'one lady driver' mentality of car sales, as if that's a bonus. To me 'one lady driver' means 'covered in make up/kerbed wheels/parking dings/hair/hair clips/hair bobs/sweet wrappers/old Heat magazines/ragged from cold/not serviced/generally abused'. My wife's Z4 is testament to this.
