Lovely story! smile

I can't wait to go on some of those PH runs, how do you get onto them?! I'm only a few months away from getting my licence now...and a few years from a worthy car hehe But driving around London in a convoy of PHers has to be one of the most fantastic things in the world!

Nice story mate.

I'm sure i've seen you on several meets as i've got your car in quiet a few group pictures.

So, now this the VXR is sold what wheels have you've got at the moment and do you know yet what the next one will be ?

I hope that was in jest.

Its quite clear the bloke is not rolling in it from what he has said and it was a big step. Give him a break, he probably has sacrificed some aspects of life to have a car he deemed fit for the PH in him!

Yet another stty comment from someone with no car in their profile. What do you drive that would shame a nigh-on 300bhp hot-hatch out of interest? I'm genuinely intrigued.

Anyones fiorst 'proper' car is always a special one. Obviously 'proper' to one person isn't the same for another. I've never driven an Astra VXR (or the equivalent Megane, Focus, A3 etc etc) but i'm impressed that is managed to fulfill and exceed your expectations. My first 'proper' car was a mild dissapointment.
