Track Day/Road Going Weapon Arrived...!

Firstly a big thanks to RoadRunnerRacing, I've now got my new 59 Plate Sprint R on the road and running sweetly.
Only driven it twice so far, gagging to get it out on a track...
360kgs powered by a Yamaha R1 engine, complete with paddle shifty gear box (pingel) and custom OJZ exhaust system. Wow... is all I can say. The noise...acceleration...
The first pics after SVA. I will add some "newer" pics, where I have added LED rear lights and the plates etc...

Infact, I had better check it will pass the db tests at tracks. It is that loud/awesome (delete as appropriate)

Oh it so so so much fun out on the road (hence the urge to get it to a track) where I can really open it up.
I will post some pics of the engine bay under that rear hood, the air intake is right behind your head. The induction roar penetrating through the noise from the OJZ exhaust system at high revs is pant wettingly awesome.

Pricing is extremely flexible.
This was a track car only before I purchased it and it was SVA'd by RRR. I think I've splashed around £11k-ish in buying and getting it on the road.
Not a lot of £££ for a whole LOAD of performance.
Heard many stories of these embarrasing true supercars at Track Days.
Being a kit car I thought it would rattle and fall apart. Not a chance, everything from the chassis upwards is blueprinted and laser cut. Awesome build quality and as it uses a lot of Yamaha R1 parts, reliable and cheap to source. Will see how this fairs over time but so far it is excellent.
I think a brand new, fully specced SR1 was around £13k (track spec only). Second hand you make some saving but there are only 16 (I think) in the world.
I would highly recommend looking at RoadRunnerRacing to see their 2 seater Seven style car. If you think this is cool...wait for this 2 seater..(pics of that in due course too!)

Oh yes, lots of "double takes".
Drove past a group of school kids the other day, made me remember how I felt (as a kid) when I first set eyes on a Lamborghini Countach. Jaw dropped open and lots of pointing/shouting... Excellent fun!
Not past plod yet, will be interesting to see if I get tugged and asked "WTF is that?"

I also have one of these brilliant machines I have done 3 trackdays in it at Elvington with Javalin Trackdays. The R1 exhausts failed the drive by noise limit but passed the static 98db noise limit there. I had thought they might so I took along some old scratched Blackbird silencers, they will be replaced later this week with some as new blueflame Scorpion silencers. It is a very fast car and I have yet to be passed when it's fully warmed up. i.e. tyres and engine and driving at about 90%.
It is also great fun on the road. The looks from other drivers and pedestrians is priceless.
I am interested in contacting other owners, as I intend doing as many trackdays at different tracks next year as possible.
