Hi all, i've been reading this part of the forum for a while and have never posted my car on here so here it goes seeing as there isn't many minis on here. Now it is nothing special and probably not to everyones taste so don't slag it if you hate it.


^Rear wheel has now been refurbished.

Other than the arches not being the same colour as the bodywork, that is exactly how I think a Mini should look

Very nice, but what's going on with the headlights? Look quite strange for some reason.

Looks super pretty. The wheels are a bit big for my liking, but it is certainly tidy enough!

ETA: I really like the black arch + black roof look.

Hi, glad you all like it, the headlights are "Angel eyes" and are a lot brighter, they can light up just round the outside of the light if you want.

I'm actually yet to get it to a trackday - it's been off the road for 3 years!

A turbo mini is great fun - they still drive just like minis, so you have all the benefits of the short wheelbase, low COG etc, but when you put your foot down, they go a bit silly.. not 'fast' by any means, but certainly good fun.

Thanks!, i don't do BMW crap . No the mini is a standard 1275 (well stage 1 tuned) fuel injected type.

I'm going off it then. Hateful things. Sorry, but just hateful. Plenty of options for brighter and more practical lights on a Mini, no need to dip into the world of angel eyes. All IMHO of course.

They were on it when i got it, i think they look kind of good for shows etc, thinking of putting spots on anyway.

Love the mini, have had 3 myself in the dim and distant past, but please ditch the angel eyes and get some decent lights for it.

Read above^ Thinking of replacing Angel Eyes for spots anyway . Also getting another mini project next year.

Good fun arent they? Like the way the arches match the roof. Any interior shots?

Thanks!, no where near the standard of yours though , no interior shots yet, will try and get some but the interior is next on the list to replace so it's nothing special yet .

Yep Rufus, i've got the bug, it's got to the stage where i'm scanning ebay, Ph, auto trader etc every hour! I'll pick another one up after crimbo and revive the thread.
