Here's my Punto - some of you may have read about my steering column going awry in a recent thread (which based on suggestions I had done at a FIAT indy
at £425 including a standard FIAT 48,000 service.
She's my first car - bought off my mum in summer 08. Its a 1.2 ELX 8v

Although its not a very fast car (in any way, shape or form
) - I like it for my short commute to work and back.
The eagle eyed among you will not that these aren't up-to-date pics but shockingly they are the only ones I have taken (last summer)

Nice little car mate, looks in good condition
. My sister has the same car and experiences issues with her steering. Taking sharp corners at moderate pace will, I presume disable the power steering because steering becomes very heavy, however starting the engine up again makes the steering fine again. Weird eh?

I do like it, not a bad purchase for £1500. Fine for commuting certainly, at least gets you mobile. Get something a bit more powerful next time
That's my plan, however - considering the money that I have into the car - i'll hang onto it for a little while yet (may another 12-18 months) then get something with a bit more poke. Gassing Station | Readers' Cars | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
