Been driving this little Bad Boy since August (finished) and it has performed and been far better accepted than I ever imagined!

It Weighs 2600 Lbs, 1196 Lbs LIGHTER than a New Skyline GTR and has a New Corvette LS2 that just dynoed at 438 HP and handles Fantastic. the total ground-up one-off project retained the Miata's Great 50/50 balance while between what was removed and added the car's total weight only increased by around 90 Lbs.

You can see a short Video walk-around and get the idea, My Idea was to create a New-Era Sunbeam Tiger, vastly improved via modern technology because as a Kid, my first ride in a Tiger Really left an impression.

Sorry James I don't have a Photo-bucket account and I have extreme compatibility problems with this website for some reason, trying to load pix.

Thanks for your interest.

You'd Think More people in the UK would be interested, even surprised by a little car like this, but apparently not.

We I show this car, and I park next to Ferrari F-430s, Lamborghini Gallardos, and Porsches, with the Hood up my car is always the crowd gatherer. Maybe such Little car, big engine combinations are more common in the UK?

I love it - extremely awesome chariot sir. The virtues of big torque in a small car, plus the V8 soundtrack, are staples of any PH-compatible day-dream imo. If I ever do another project it will be an LS into either a Mk1 MX5 or an FD RX7.

Sadly the key word is if - projects are financially perilous if like me you have to pay someone else to do the work (lack of space / tool / talent) as well as buying all the bits hehe

Problem is that big engines are hard to come by in the UK (expensive) and are usually housed in performance cars already. I have a real hankering for something (anything!) LS-series engined at the moment. However, I can't just go to a breakers-yard and pick one up unfortuantely. So mostly we are left with the Rover V8 which sounds nice but is a bit.....mmmaaahh...there are better, smaller engines to use.

My girlfriend wants an MX5 though so maybe I can kill two birds with one stone......

Thanks for all the kind words you guys, I really appreciate it. Yes I'm an extremely tight budgeted perswon too, retired Firefighter. I built this car, a one-off design / build over 3-1/2 years, all myself in my little on-car garage shop. It took 3-1/2 years due to my limited ability to afford parts over time. Also this was the Cheap Alternative to say, a Used Vette or Camaro, Cobra kit car.

Here in Arizona, it is the economic way to go fast, Not that a Miata is that stylistic but it's advantage is clearly that the Police don't even look at me (as long as the clutch is in when I go by) so it's low key & fast.

Forgive my ignorance, but What's a Skoda?

Thanks again, Piston-Heads!!

Great the V8 MX5's but in this country as said there isn't a good supply of worthwhile V8's to transplant, think a few Lexus V8's have been done but thats it, the old Rover V8 which was a really, really old American V8 is just pointless as a bolt on turbo kit would give a much more powerful car. Most people just go turbo or supercharger in the UK, cheaper easier and very effective smile Sure things would be different if there were ready supplys of cheap light V8's.

!I've had so much fun it's almost indiscriable. I've intimidated Vipers, squashed Shelbys had great roll-on contests with several GTRs, wowed people by cruising through Scottsdale along side Ferraris, Lamborghinis and Bentley convertibles. It always draws the unstoppable Holy Sh..!! responses from absolutely everyone when I pop the hood at Shows! Pictures and video really don't do it justice to Really show just how little space there is in the Engine bay.

Thanks for ALL your Great Comments guys and YES it is a HOOT!
