I picked up my new weapon last week smile

It's a 1989 E30 M3 215bhp in Diamond Black 8)

I'll let the pics do the talking -

Genuine smoked Hella's -

Recaro SRD's 8)

Original and unmolested S14 -

I'm not keen on the wheels but they do grow on you after a while, I was lucky enough to win a set of 16" BBS Evo alloys for it, being picked up on Monday and will be refurbed by the end of the week with new rubber on 8)

The exhaust was a bit ropey in places and having hit every speed bump in the area I needed a new one, with a stroke of luck on the E30Zone a nearly new Milltek stainless steel came up for grabs, I tip toed over on Wed and it was put on Thurs morn -

A new Becker head unit was also purchased.

Up to now I love it, it's had the exhaust done, alloys bought and now waiting on the interior, pretty good I think.

Some of you might know my other toys -

Stunning car, I really really want one.
Not a fan of the wheels either, glad they are being changed.

Looks lovely! I had a nose around it at the midlands 'zone meet, I've got a white E30 i.S smile

I'd love your recaros, they look awesome trimmed in the same fabric as the original seats.

What a brilliant car!

I love the Reacros too, and it will look even more amazing when you get the BBS wheels and the Becker.

Truly epic collection there, the e60 wheels actually look quite good, maybe need some small spacers, but they'll make good winter wheels.

Stunning car, and I'm surprised I'm saying this, but those E60 wheels don't look bad, but I think it would look much better on more original ones.

Quick update -

I managed to bag 2 front seats from another M3, I was up this morning at 5 am and was heading towards Newcastle at 5.30 8)

Seats picked up and old ones removed -

Great opportunity to give it a good hoover redfaceops:

What do we reckon :?:

The Recaro SRD's are great seats but my size doesn't make it comfortable frown

However, I am working on getting the runners that will dip down like the seats above - If anyone has any suggestions about doing this then please let me know

Next job on the list is the wheels, as soon as they land here they are off to get furbed, hopefully should be on by the end of the week smile

Looks like a nice example,

Well done on putting the standard wheels back on they'll look must better.

Hope you enjoy it I've had mine for around 7 years and can't think of anything which combines fun, reliability, reasonable ownership cost and individuality so well.

Stunning- and a nice collection of Bavaria finest. The E30 M3 only gets better looking with age.

I realise I am in the minority here but I think those 5-spoke wheels look great.

They do look better in the flesh, I was put off at first but after a while they do grow on you smile

I should have my 16" BBS's on by the end of the week wink
