New Car

I have now finally replaced the Focus. It's definitely a surprise going from a 2.0 Focus to a 1.0 Yugo, no PAS, no brake servo, but quite a giggle.






Apparently someone has fitted a RX7 engine into one!! Either way, I have big plans!

My woodwork teacher had one and we could out accelerate it with a hovercraft that we built after hours using an old 250cc Yamaha and some plywood.

Nice one! Looks in great condition. My mate had a pea green one back in the day. I worked out in Croatia for 5 months recently and the place is full of them, every second car!

I can occasionally be found looking for cheap but tidy Yugos, FSOs and Ladas on eBay for a giggle but as yet have resisted the temptation...

Good and cheap Yugo can be found in Croatia ro Slovenia, on sea sides (no snow - no rust) and they cost form 50-250 euros.

For £300 I think you get a lot for your money. Some people may laugh but really I don't give a toss.

I'd like to fix it up properly, do a nice respray in Candy red and fit better brakes, suspension and engine. Just got to find out what fits etc. These couple look quite decent:

If you need any help, I'm here! I am from Serbia and I live with Yugos
My friend is a racer (Hill climb), and he and his father have a car service and they have work on a lot of modified Yugos, and built a race cars of them.
The yugo on the first image is stock 1.1l 55hp, my friend from Belgrade drive it (Cobe). And the other one is from Zaagreb (Croatia) 1.6l SOHC Fiat Croma engine (stock) 90hp, also know the guy (Tom).

How did you get one in such good condition? Almost looks like a Mk1 Golf if you squint a bit
