See now I don't think they do. Awesomely capable, a brilliant place to be and wonderful value for the huge amount of performance (and before any ricer turbo boys get excited I'm talking about the whole perforance package not just bhp or sprint times) you get...but I sold mine because it didn't make any noise and it left me a little cold. I am, however, always jealous when I see people at the helm of one. And that is a lovely colour combo. Maybe I need another, just with a sports exhaust this time!

Thanks guys, I must say I am really enjoying owning one, I don't think I have owned anything that feels quite so planted on the road and it just never seems unsettled by the dodgy British pot-holed roads
I've come from a Z4 and the straight 6 rumble on that was a pretty nice noise, but I really like the sounds the boxster makes, especially at around about 4-5k rpm is something else.

Well the Z4 was fun, but it has to be said the ride was pretty harsh, any bumps in the road and you would really feel it. The Porsche just seems to ride over them without feeling like they are shaking your bones, so it never seems unsettled by the road surface. The handling seems a lot more neutral, so going round the bends it seems to grip and grip and grip, I haven't got anywhere near the edge yet, and because it feels so planted it gives you a lot of confidence that the car will cope quite happily with whatever you throw at it.So at the moment I am absolutly loving it...but it's not cheap, I've just had a major service, it didn't need anything doing to it over and above what they cover in the service and it was still into 4 figures. MPG is mid to low 20's on a comute, with 30-35 on the motorway.
