Those Speedsters are lovely
What's the Panamera like, Helen?
it's not actually a speedster. ( But i admit i still do sometimes get them muddled up too)it's a 356a Cabriolet.

the Panamera is awesome although i am still not convinced by the automatic gearbox i'd much prefer a manual but, it's not an option. it's very quick. even by Porsche standards but it is HUGE and finding a parking space is sometmes a problem. wish i could have kept my 9974S but ££ wouldn't allow :-(

2 good choices ma'am!
saw my first 4 door porker in the flesh the other day, much much nicer in real life than many of the photos, though, as said, that's a good pic
yes it's a very difficult car to photograph. i hated the Panamera when i saw the press photos but think it looks much better on the road. saw my first 4 door porker in the flesh the other day, much much nicer in real life than many of the photos, though, as said, that's a good pic
here it is from a diffrent angle and this one shows it size better

I was quite taken with the panamera when I saw it at the launch. Every time I go to OPC Tonbridge they seem to have load s there. It is very colour sensitive & looks better in darker colours.
Helen how long have you had the Panamera? Whats is it like, specs etc.?
i have only owned this one for a couple of weeks. unlike the new Cayenne the Panamera 4S comes with just about all the extras you'd ever want included in the price. BUT we did have our own choice of quality & coloured leather, heated rear seats, air suspension, bose sound system, as well as the bigger turbo design wheels which i notice the dealers are now fitting on their demonstrators. oh and nearly forgot the electric towbar which is possativly rude when eeerrr erected. That's a bit pants - not having a manual as an option! Bizarre?? it does look huge from the pictures, although that front shot doesn't make it look too bad!
Sorry to hear about getting rid of the 997, still you can always own another one in the future once funds allow again

I don't know what Clarkson et al were on about - I think they look good in the metal...
I think they were indulging in a bit of Porsche bashing at the expense of 2 of their favourite cars, the Aston and the maserati. I think they were slating it for the sake of slating it, I've seen the Panamera in the metal on more than a few occasions and they look goodGassing Station | Readers' Cars | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
