Here's my ride, nothing as grand as some of the motors on here but I have rebuilt it and MOT'd it last month and fitted various upgrades like a 1275 engine and type 9 5 speed box, electric cooling fan, uprated heater, 15in MGF wheels, heated front and rear screens. I plan to use it a wee bit and then get on with the interior and maybe a some paint if it ever stops raining Enjoy are there any other PH members in Inverness?

Bob1179, I did loads and it's not finished yet. The MGF wheels took a bit of fitting but are worth the effort and even the MOT man commented on them. The MGF wheels needed new studs and 3mm spacers at the front, I think they fill the arches better though. The front and centre xmembers, 2 chassis legs, engine bay tie plates, complete floor, spring hangers were all replaced, new rear springs, poly bushed the suspension, telescopic dampers, ARB on front, front discs from a marina, 1275 marina engine, LCB manifold, HIF 38 carb, aldon electronic ignition kit, ford capri type 9 5 speed box, replaced front wings two good F/g items, 9 gallon fuel tank were all fitted. Also painted underneath and waxoyled everything and injected waxoyl into cills. I still have the interior to fit up and intend putting in Saab seats more sound deadening and giving it all a good clean up.

The wheels look really good. I'd love to take on a car resto project (I already have a bike that I'm doing) but I just don't have the time due to work.
It's great to see old motors being given a new lease of life though, and a car like the Morris Minor is far more fun and interesting than some new euro hatch.

Well I have had this car pretty much as a daily driver for 20+ years and although I have done work on it I think it deserved to be restored and hopefully keep me mobile for another 20yrs
If you asked me todo it again though I am not sure I would as for a small car it sure was and still is a lot of work.
Thanks for the interest though and hope you get your bike done.
