Hello all, just thought I'd post up to introduce myself. Those in the West Sussex / Hampshire area may have seen me about.
I'm also a member on the Briskoda forum, so I have two Brisky stickers attached.

I regard my motor as a bit of a sleeper, even got two kiddie seats in her most of the time. The guys at JKM in Pompey have breathed on her with a REVO remap and I recently had a Forge Motorsport Diverter Valve fitted.
Previously had a mk 1 from new with induction and APR tune up.. Just thought I'd say hi if anyone has seen me about...

It's good to see i'm not the only MK2 OCT'y on here. Welcome!.
It'd be good to hear about any future mods on your TFSI version.
Cheers

Cheers guys. Was looking at possibly also getting an induction system, but at £300, they are a bit pricey. Part of the JKM remap is a Green panel filter replacement for the stock item.
To be honest, the first mod I get done from picking the car up is to book her in for the remap...
The mod I most want is the Nordschliefe sticker that I had on the mk1 I owned before.

Is that really a modification? Why put one on if it hasn't been? Apologises if it has. Looks nice and sleeperish though Yep, much like the unwritten rule that Alberto Contador broke in the Tour de France, I wouldnt dream of putting the sticker on without the car earning it... kind of like having M stylee mirrors on a non M car....
As standard, its ok, great value for money and although they have to hamstring the official figures in the brochures, like a golf gti, but far, far better... ;-).
Once the remap is in, it all goes ballistic, linearly so, but still one heck of a change. It'll never be the most charismatic of engine notes, but it goes in sixth like it goes in second.... just keeps pulling for the next red line, and becomes much more versatile, kind of like sitting in 6th most of the time, with still the flexibility to respond.
Economy goes up as well, so its a great way to sell the idea to the mrs...
