E30s are great cars, no doubt about it, I understand that people wont like this two tone paintwork, but out of curiosity what made you choose black and red?
Good transformation though smile

I really dont like the black kidney grilles with the chrome window surrounds, both the same either black or chrome.

Headlights are dark as well, maybe silver normal ones would brighten up the lower half of it.

I like it though and it is some work to get it like that Im sure, post up more pics and I will be looking forward to seeing them...

I like it. It's like the A-Teams weekend car.

I prefer it to your tourer, it's distinctly less ruined.

The only thing I will echo is the non-matching chrome details, it really stands out.

Sorry to hear about the un-insured driver incident frown

That's cool! Are they home brew smoked lights or have you used lamin-x type film?

Your tourer is beautiful...

completly home brewed, in all honesty this was pretty much one of the best and worst e30 i ever had, because i got it so cheap i didnt mind going a little wild with it and it was the first proper strip out and re build i had done so i used it as a bit of a learner. i had never done bodywork of any kind (and yes it shows!) but i tried my best on a non existent budget, and with hardly any proper tools to create a half tidy motor. it was never meant to be a minter and was all about the fun of the build. certainly learned some lessons in home modifying rather than just buying off the shelf and had a right laugh doing it! will dig out the photos later...

love the shape of this car - they should only ever be smooth black though!
