So you may remember this...
(Which I did have a build thread on but I got lazy and let it die)

Which now looks more like this...
(Less paint, more primer, less chrome trims, more welded)

This one is mine and I'll soon be ordering up the sebring front and rear valances for it (no wide arches!)
Then my Dad bought this one that had been sat for 19 years (yes it did roll out of the blokes garage looking like this!)

But then a few months later he bought this (Which I'm sure is the one your all really interested in)

The V8 was restored in 1984 and parked up in the owners garage in 1985 for the next 25 years!
It is a factory V8 that was originally in Ireland then brought back to England.
All of the brakes have been removed by the previous owner as they were seized (hence axle stands), With a jump pack connected the electrics work, the engine turns a quater turn by hand and came with a boot full of bits that have been bought over the years and never fitted (including a front Spax kit the rear already being fitted).
As it's been sat for so long its covered in 25 years of s
te but seems to be ok with a bit of T-Cut and Mir.

Unfortunately due to its poor pre-paint preparation when it was restored and years of storage the paint is pretty shot (deep swirl marks and chips etc)

The V8 was advertised on Car & Classic and I think the blue one was as well.
We'll be having none of that roadster lark around these parts! Personally I think the GT is a much better looking car (besides I think we should get a MGC to complete the lineup).
Although I don't think we'll get away with that as my dad has to sell his to keep the V8.
