Honda Integra Type R

Hi All,
Thought I'd stick up a quick post of my new car after collecting it a couple of weeks ago.
Its a '98 UKDM Honda Integra Type R, totally standard, 60,000 miles and has been serviced every 6 months at Honda from new, with 2 cambelt changes already! I'm pretty chuffed with it to be honest, cracking condition considering it's now 12 years old. It's number #130 of the approx 1500 that we got over here.

Indeed it did! Are you going to leave it standard or do you have plans afoot?It's my intention to leave it standard yes... whether that will be the case or not is another matter!
I'm going to change all the suspension bushes soon, I'd imagine they're pretty knackered by now and it's supposed to be a massive improvement. The temptation to put a fruity exhaust on it will always be there, but we will see!
Nice to see a very tidy standard example! Puts mine to shame somewhat! I can understand the temptation to fit some fruity induction and exhaust- the sound in mine is just 
If you do get the itch, i'd go with stuff that can easily be put back to standard, yours looks a fantastic example of a fabulous breed!

Please keep it as it is. Ive had a few DC2's UK & JDM and left standard they are the best.
If you want more power, put in a Spoon drop in filter, (Exhaust manifold & Cat (or decat) and Exhaust) from a JDM 98 Spec DC2. Will perform much better, but not be loud or annoying and you will not loose that amazing engine note, Intakes usually take that away.

It looks lovely, nice to see one as clean and standard as this one.
I've had a few of these cars, some were modified (by prev owner) and the ones I have liked best were standard ones. Yes you can put coil overs on, big wheels, different cams, but a good standard car has such balance, and is such a good all rounder best left alone!

Thats not the top of the market for a really good one like this, a few have sold in the past few months for £6k to £8k.
