I got this car brand new back in May of this year and i'm pretty pleased with it now after a few subtle mods !

Let me know what you think smile

- Revo Stage 1 remap (200ish bhp)
- Black BTCC Spoiler
- Front bumper resprayed (centre section)
- Lowered on Eibach Sportlines
- Eibach front and rear ARB's

You've done a lovely job with that! Just the right balance IMO and clearly the best I've seen.

Thanks mate, forgot to add it's got the black Cupra Grille & had the mirrors painted gloss black to match !

Just need to do something with the horrid grey plastic bit behind the rear plate, but undecided at the mo !

Gloss black may work on the rear diffuser section, however on the other hand it could look terrible.

Nice car, chap!

Thanks again, I know what you mean, it might look just like a horrid slab of gloss black :S

Might be a photoshop request I guess at some point ... the centre bit just pops out and they're fairly inexpensive so it may be worth buying a new one and getting in sprayed up and see how it is... at least I have the old one if it looks pants.

Lovely looking mk2, I do like them in white!

If you haven't already, join up at SeatCupra.Net - we're a friendly bunch!

There's a RR day organised up in Northallerton in a few weeks, and I know one or two 'slightly' modified mk2's will be in attendance wink There's a thread in the North East section on the forums with details etc.

I'm already signed up mate and unfortunately i'm working on that day which is a shame... gives me chance to save for some more goodies for the next one though smile

Although I think tuning wise the CR engines are fairly limited at the moment ?

Fair enough! We seem to alternate between Motoscope up here and RSTuning down in Leeds so there'll be another one in the new year I'd imagine - always good banter even if you don't need to run.

I can't comment on tuning as I haven't got a scooby-doo when it comes to such things redface

RS Tuning is only half an hour from here at most so I shall be paying them a visit soon for some diagnostics on the remap, hope to come to some meets and meet some of you guys from SC... when I had my old VTS was quite an active member on sax-p and some of the meets and weekends away were a good laugh !

Nice decisive post there!

Gloss black is clearly the answer - car looks lovely, only thing I'm unsure of is the placing of the front FR badge.

it's only limited by how much you want to spend wink

dpf delete and remap should give you an extra 30bhp and a wedge more torque.

As far as I was aware there is no dpf delete for the newer CR Diesel engine yet frown

MUCH less roll, although I did get them fitted the same time as the ARB's, so it's hard to say for definate.

Sadly this only works for the old PD engines, not for the new common rail diesel engines.....
