One was introduced in 1989 and the other 2002, as far as I'm concerned both are fantastic cars and (obviously IMO) the Z4 marks the time when BMW started making boring looking cars. I don't think anything made after the Z4 was all that exciting. Both cars still excite me and both cars are doing a great job of encouraging me out of the 6 series.
(I have to park the 8 series this way so I can jump start it if I leave it there longer than about 4 days

Z4 in need of a clean after some spirited driving on my friends 4 mile drive in deepest darkest North Wales. The Z is booked in for the complete Eibach treatment on Tuesday, springs and shocks.

Get yourself one of these to solve the need for jumping and save your batteries. Running them flat constantly does their life span no favours.

I know it goes against everything PH but I can't even put it in the garage to easily hook it up to a trickle charger since doing this to the garage...
Took a few more pics... it stopped raining so ventured out and put the roof down.
Been tidying up my Photobucket account today, a but OCD about having things like that organised. I do miss my E46, IMO the E9x has gone the same way as every other car on the market, just so boring...
Aw, even found a picture of my Focus, I loved that car. Could handle about 4x the BHP I'm sure, a really good chassis.
Ah, they were the days, coming over a bit nostalgic here looking through old photos. Apologies for boring everyone.

Fair point. Drives even better now it's not on run flats - very much looking forward to the new suspension.It's very much a drivers car. It rattles like a bag of spanners on anything other than the smoothest of roads, I'd say it's not all that well put together but when you put it through its paces, it loves it. It doesn't know the meaning of the word 'refined' but it's good fun and the car you'd take if you wanted a bit of fun.

Oil change, MOT, full service etc. Hoping it comes back feeling a bit different.
Thinking about booking her in for a new exhaust system and putting a nice induction kit in there. I have written before about the desire to supercharge. I am told by a pal that an ESS supercharger would be a nice addition with minimal other mods required, pretty much plug and play?

The latter matey - having driven both, prefer the V8 over the V12. Cheaper to run too

Thanks, shame two of them are buckled but being reps, they're probably softer anyway I guess. I can't wait to pick it up later, just had the call that the springs/shocks/bushes are done. Should be looking a bit better/lower!
