Very nice Loon how are you getting on with the BMW bike?
It's absolutely amazing. The difference between it and my track R1 is like chalk & cheese. I had to ride it in the wet today (recall work) on effective slicks in the pissing rain and it stuck like glue to the road and just flew.I've ridden R1s for 6 years plus, but this is just light years ahead in temrs of feel, grip, power, brakes, comfort etc.

Never expected to say this to a bloke, but that's a nice pair you've got Al
Love the GSXR in those colours
How do you find the ST?
Hi Stu, the ST is a good compromise for me.I have 3 kids so it's handy for the odd day out together. The 5 pot turbo engine is a 'peach', with a great induction growl and loads of low down torque.I'm planning lowering it slightly on Eibachs which seem to be the popular choice with the ST owners.Dream Science remap is a must for these cars also.

The bike on the other hand is another level, you'd need to spend some serious money on a car to keep with it, first gear is geared to around 104 mph.

Sounds awesome! Always good reviews on them, i'd love to have a ride on one.Mines just gone in for a service so picking it up again tomorrow. (only 2k on the clock.)
I wouldn't unless you're planning on buying one. If you have it for a day, then your GSXR will just feel all wrong afterwards. It takes me at least one session to dial back in to the R1 on track, as it feels broken compared to the BMW whenever I get on it.R1 Loon said:

Too much being made of the shoulder IMO.
I'd really like Spies to come to the fore as well, a five way championship battle would be good for next year.
Lorenzo seems to be enjoying himself and some his comments & antics are Rossi-esque, especially as he seems to be avoiding Rossi getting into his head.

Lol @ the shoulder! I know what you mean, take Rossi with a pinch of salt.Had to laugh at Lorenzo after his race win, he dressed as an astronaut and missed the putt! lol.I'd really like Spies to come to the fore as well, a five way championship battle would be good for next year.
