Looking back i couldn't find a thread on RC's about my MX5, so thought it only fair that it should have one!
started about 12 months ago, having sold a very tired Corrado, and looking for some (winter!) fun.
Step in this car:

1.6i eunos, ac, e/w, cloth.
also comes with a matching hardtop, a new hood as well as well as recent cambelt change new tyres, brakes and zero rust. All for well under £1300. It was local to me in Bristol, and after 5 mins of driving *knew* it was the car for me. No rattles, knocks, bangs or anything to make me worry.
first things first:

top off and white wheels.
then followed the GV lip splitter

then Rota RBR's (15'' x 8'')

and finally hoon the nuts off it!!

Over the 18 months or so i've owned it, its consumed about 30mpg, no oil, passed straight through its MOT (twice) and the only thing to break is the electric windows (£17 cable and two hours to DIY fit) and an aftermarket Cibie light upgrade.
the car is 20 years old, and has 215k km's on the clock. It has been without doubt the best car i've ever owned, and one of the most reliable.
Hard to see why everyone raves about them
