1990 Porsche 911 964 Carrera 4

Hi All,
Thought it was about time that I posted up about the old girl! I've had her since May this year and all I can say is that she is a beaut! Never really owned a "proper" car before this. Came from a background of a few dubs and still have a Corrado VR6 in the garage as my little project!
Anyways, onto the 964!
AS I said I bought her in May with 118k on the clocks and a good history, Car had done 19k in 11 years so that left it with a few problems to deal with due to lack of use, but nothing major!
Anyways Pictures of her when I bought her.
Since I've had her, not done anything to the exterior, apart from a good clean! Inside, the alarm has been changed and the archaic sound system has been bought up to modern standards. It's still not a brilliant system but when you have a sound like that out the back, who cares!
Since I bought her, I have done 6k and a tour of some dusty naff desert so I haven't got as far as anything too impressive on her. Mainly getting her up to a decent standard and stable base to move on from. She is used everyday as my daily and she is better for it!

Mod's on her are the 17" Twists, which I want to change for something else, but not sure as to what yet. Cup mirrors and steering wheel. Decat exhaust and a remap of some sort? She put down 292Bhp and 255 lb.ft on Surrey Rolling Road's roller a few weeks back.

I must admit I grin to myself every time I drive it and tend to laugh to myself after taking it down a particularly satisfying bit of B road!
The colour is a special Porsche request colour called Velvet Red, I think there are only 4 or 5 in the country and even fewer with the Linen leather colour combo!
In this weather, I'm quite surprised with how it is behaving, admittedly, we haven't much snow worth talking about in West Oxfordshire but on the slippery bits of road we do have, it's been impeccable! It is 4WD though so that means a lot in those conditions.
It's a 964, but then I think you have to be a bit of a closet geek to spot the difference in most air-cooled Porsches! Well actually, Most Porsches! I'd quite happily have a 993 to replace her with tho!

Unfortunately, They are not genuine Porsche wheels. Genuine Turbo Twist wheels come in 18" and up as far as I am aware, These are heavy replicas that I am after changing.
I wanted the C4 specifically as I have not had a "proper" performance car before and I am aware of my limits so I thought I would opt for the security of the extra grip!

Sean, lovely looking pice of pork, well done. You don't see many in that colour and has had some tasteful mods done so far. Must have a strong lump kicking out the 290 odd horses over the 250 standard with the remap and the decat.
Personally speaking, regarding the wheels I'd go for some 17" cup 1's and get it lowered slightly, really makes a big difference to it's stance.
