Fiesta, Mini and Hyundai :(

Long time lurker, been checking PH pretty much daily for the last couple of years, keeping up to date with peoples cars and the progress being made.
Thought it was about time i shared a few images of the cars i've owned in my 9 years of driving. only 3 motors but all different.
First up after being taught to drive mainly by my parents in the family owned from new 1998 Hyundai Accent coupe i, 1341cc, 12 valves and 84 bhp of pure korean power. One word UNDERSTEER!!! never driven a car since that offered so much understeer. My parents kindly gave me the car when i moved to Leeds for my Engineering placement, it served me well for a year although i did kill a gear box through constant thrashing on every journey, 55mph in 2nd, 85 in 3rd, 105 in 4th and 114 in 5th (all speedo indicated so very optimistic) never made the magical 115mph.
Unfortunately no pics. (i'm sure your gutted).
After that year i co owned the car with my sister for the following year as we lived in the same house while at uni for my final year. at the end of Uni i got a proper job so could afford a decent car so i bought myself a 7 year old Mk5 Fiesta Zetec S. Wanting a car that had a decent turn of speed compared to what i had been used to and infinitely better handling the fiesta fitted the bill perfectly.
I found this example for £3995 and paid £3500 for it 55k full ford service history, AC, TC, 4 airbags very good condition.
After joining zsoc.com i found out that my car was an ex press car, she had been driven by VBH on the original Top Gear. There is a video kicking about on the internet somewhere.
A few simple mods later inc tinted headlights, black grill, rear axel spacers 12.5mm (ford racing puma ones), OMP front lower strut brace, grooved discs and mintex pads and a Panasonic head unit leaves me with what has been my daily drive for the last 3 1/2 years and still going strong after putting over 40K on the clock.
Currently up for sale advertised in the classifieds if anyone is interested.
Then a bit of fun for the weekend came along i the shape of this
1986 mini mayfair 998 cc, or was it? 1340cc bored MG metro engine with uprated cams, hi-los, 14 way adjustable spax dampers, 12x6" minilites stripped interior with cobra monaco buckets and sabelt 4 point harnesses and centre exit rc40 exhaust (epic noise).
I miss that car so much the most fun ever, never had to brake for a corner so many a silent passenger graced the left hand seat. unbelievable fast for the size of car, well it felt fast anyway. Bought for £1200 and sold for £2000 can't argue with that.

Cheers for the comments guys, the mini was such a good laugh bit expensive running two cars without a job so it had to go, sold it just over a year ago, really do miss it.
Got to get rid of the fiesta now too, while its still holds a bit of value. Then into the world of bangernomics for me £500 budget.
