Well my much-beloved Corsa has left my possession and has been replaced by this glorious new vehicle -

It's a 2010 (59 plate) Ford Focus Zetec S, it's the 1.6 version with 115bhp, so a good bit more powerful then the Corsa, It's also a good bit bigger so more comfortable for my daily commute.

Being a Focus, it rides and drives like a dream, I'm not used to this amount of feedback through the steering wheel.

So yes, I'm completely over the Corsa and can't wait to go for a proper drive in it!!

More pics!

Gratuitous Spoiler shot hehe

Looks smart , I prefer these face-lifted ones to the slightly dull ones that came before it , how long you intending on keeping it for?

IMO the Arnold Clark sticker devalues it (or any car for that matter) a tad.

Yes, I do prefer this facelifted look for the mk2s. Should be a nice comfortable place to cruise back and forward to work in. I've always liked the Focus (I used to have a mk1 1.6 Zetec Petrol Ebony), they're great drivers when you consider everything else in the class tends to lean towards the casual market (light steering, soft/light gear boxes, soft brakes, crap handling etc etc).

I think these Zetec S models look fab, Yours really suits the deep blue, I'd be tempted by one of these in a few years myself once they get a bit cheaper, 2.0 TDCi spec would be nice i think.

Ian, my spoilers bigger than yours...

Also, how long until this one is airborne?

Disclaimer, if the owner of ian's old corsa is reading, all wheels were in constant contact with the road at all points of it's life.

Edit, where are my manners. Looks great curry!

I think if the rear plastic bit was painted gloss black it would look really smart, and the front plastic grills as well for that matter.

These are really good cars by the way.

Personaly i'm not a fan of this "new" shape (other than the RS) prefer the MK1 Focus, but each to their own en all ........

The bodykit is horrible and basically says "I wanted an ST but the bank said hell no"

Thanks for the nice comments, been looking into changing some things, I like the gloss black idea for the plastic and after seeing an RS on Black Wheels (It was blue aswell), i've decided to try and source some RS style wheels.

I've been looking at tinting the rear windows, as I've seen some with this and quite liked it. Also I've ordered S badges from Ford as they are missing off the car. Got them for nothing, so can't complain that much!!

Now, if I did less than 20,000 miles then yes an ST it would've been, but this offers the looks, but returns over 40 mpg on a mixed run.

Looks nice, but as mentioned, get rid of the Arnold Clarke sticker.

Every time I see one of these in front of me I can't help but think it looks chav'd up — the 'diffuser' and exhaust combo is the sort of mismatch you normally see on BarryBoys! Poor effort Ford.

Nice car other than that. beer

Very nice mate. Like the Diffuser thing at the back.

Will that fit around a Kart track? hehe

As you don't work for Arnold Clark get that sticker off ASAP. You paid money for the car, not for them to use it as an advertising board.
