Hi,
I'm going to be selling my Scimitar SS1 when it's back from the garage with 6 months tax and 12 months MOT. It is unmodified, built in 1985, has 76000 on the clock, and is in British Racing Green. I've had it for a year since it came out of storage and was gone right over to make sure everything was in good order (including changing all fuel pipes). I have some service history and original sales material from the launch. The condition is very good.
I'm wondering what sort of price I can expect, as I can't find many similar cars for sale and the price varies hugely on those I can find. If anyone can help me, I'd really appreciate it.

Hi there - I had an SS1 as my first car - it was also a 1985 model (B Reg). Whilst I wouldn't be sure how much one is worth now I will say that if your example has rust free sills then it is well worth mentioning in your ad - the galvanised chassis of SS1's only appeared after the 1.8 turbo (all turbos were galvanised) Also if its the 1.6 cvh rather than the 1.3 cvh with 4 speed box it would be worth slightly more I would imagine. Other things to mention would be the condition of the glass fibre (any crazing or hair line cracks?) Also the front nose cose is resin injection moulded rather and is flexible rather than normal glass fibre - if this is in good condition thats a plus too as they are quite costly.

Best of Luck!
