6 speed Auto
Not noisy really supercharger Whine is the loudest noise(until the new exhaust gets fitted )smile
lovely to drive handles very well for a large car, we went from an SLK350
this pulls amazingly when you want to
400bhp over the 270 of the SLK.
At 19k it smells and looks like new.

we are well pleased.

Proton MPi?

Nice Jag, same colour as the Focus I've just bought as a daily hack. Looks nicer on the Jag!

A beauty. S-Type's are such a nice alternative to the usual 5-Series, E-Class, A6 blandness of today.

Nice car. I have a quiet place for well powered Jags, more so for this one. It was never the looks that sold it, but the ethos, the vision, the purpose. To please the owner, and surprise, all the time.

nice car.

Lovely car.

But honestly, why do they bother even letting the bonnet open with such a pathetic array of dull black plastic on display?!

It's shameful - there's a sodding supercharged V8 under all that crap.

Always hated the way S-Types look, the R just about pulls it off though with the bigger wheels and grilles etc and who cares when you have the engine/interior!

Great car, I've always thought the S Type R looks stunning but it seems I'm in the minority. I can't understand that when other manufacturers go retro everyone thinks the cars are brilliant but when Jag do it they just get criticised. The good thing is that because of the looks they are quite a rare sight on the road, which I think makes them even cooler!

Have you got any photo's of the interior they're usually lovely inside.

Inside is a pleasant place to be smile
Got Mr TLC coming early next month to sort a chip on the boot lid that I'm not happy with, then I can give it a decent Polish and enjoy the summer to come.
