Macan purchase (pre-owned)

I am looking to buy a fairly recently registered pre-owned Macan from the main Porsche network.

I have noticed that many of them were registered in 03/2026 and wondering why this would be the case?

There seems to be too many of them to be coincidental.

Can you assist please?

Well one reason is that it is the biggest single month for new car registrations. Around 20% of annual sales from memory.

Could be that they were stopped getting produced, I see you can’t order a ICE one now and they hold their value so well.
Probably selling 6 months old cars for more than they paid for them new

I believe that a number of vehicles were pre registered to avoid the large increases in road tax first year registration fee applicable from 1 April
