Scam WhatsApp re: Hotel de la Source
Discussion
If you're planning to go to Spa this summer, and have a reservation at Hotel de la Source:
I received a WhatsApp message last night purporting to be from the Hotel de la Source reservation system. It had my correct details (name, reservation number, start/end of stay) and asking me to click on a link to update/confirm the reservation,
This is a scam/phishing message, so please be careful!
In my case it's for the 15/16 september (RSR track day).

I believe this is related to Booking.com.
It can affect any hotel that allows rooms to be booked booking.com.
Seems their booking system extracts way more information than it should, so sees all bookings made with the hotel and it is this that s been compromised.
Ah - thanks for the info!It can affect any hotel that allows rooms to be booked booking.com.

With all these aggregators sharing data all over the place you start to have way too many places where the data can leak...
